At Polestar Uptown Toronto (Markham) we are looking for a Pre-Owned Sales Manager to join our team! As a Pre-Owned Sales Manager at Polestar, you will be responsible for overseeing the pre-owned vehicle department, ensuring efficient operations, and maximizing profitability. You will manage a team of salespeople and support staff to deliver exceptional customer service, maintain an inventory of high-quality pre-owned vehicles, and achieve sales targets.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ability to effectively manage all areas of the Pre-Owned Department, including but not limited to wholesale, retail, appraising vehicles, purchasing and marketing.
  • Ability to forecast goals and objectives for Pre-Owned vehicle sales, gross and key expenses on a monthly and annual basis.
  • Ability to acquire vehicles for inventory
  • Knowledge of the reconditioning process and how to do it cost effectively
  • Ability to work well with other departments to ensure a smooth transition
  • Ability to appraise Luxury vehicles
  • Ability to train and effectively lead all used car sales associates.
  • Ability to handle and resolve customer issues or concerns promptly and professionally.
  • Ensure high standards are held for delivery of vehicles to customers.
  • Ensure that sales representatives understand and follow dealership policies at all times.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills and an ability to communicate effectively with customers; subordinates and other management.

Job Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Pre-Owned Sales Specialist is required.
  • In-depth knowledge of pre-owned vehicle sales and dealership operations
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills are required.
  • Previous experience with CPO programs is preferred.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as required
