Parts Clerk - Polestar Oakville
Polestar Oakville is seeking a Parts Clerk to join our team! The Parts Clerk will be responsible for to monitor and control the daily flow of paper communication and to control and maintain current inventory data. Applicants must have an excellent understanding of automotive parts, as well as an interest in mechanics and customer service.
Some of the responsibilities of parts clerk include:
Receive parts and enter inventory
Sourcing and ordering parts as required
Perform cycle counts
Maintain clean and safe work areas
Part labeling and stocking shelves
Issuing parts to Mechanics
Daily review of warranty parts, stock returns and core parts
Maintaining special order parts
Various other parts room activities
Monitor / Correct Invoices
Valid driver’s license
Previous dealership or parts department experience would be an asset
High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
Basic computer skills required
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a fast-paced distribution environment dealing with carriers, suppliers, internal and external customers
Ability to lift loads of 50 pounds
Able to work days and occasional weekends
Good organizational and communication skills.
Proven communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
Experience in working and promoting a safe work environment
