Delivery Co-ordinator

Our Polestar location in Oakville is seeking to hire a Delivery Co-ordinator.

The Delivery Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the organizing the delivery of all new cars starting from the point the customer purchases the vehicle and through the New Vehicle Delivery process. The Delivery Coordinator always prepares the vehicle as per the customer requests, including ensuring all purchased options are installed and features are fully operational.

The Delivery Coordinator is a self-starter and strives to be a scheduling expert by keeping informed of all incoming and outgoing units. When scheduling a delivery a vehicle to a customer, the Delivery Coordinator ensures that both the vehicle and the customer is prepared for the delivery. The Delivery Coordinator pays a high level of attention to the details by ensuring all sales documentation and related paperwork has been correctly and fully completed. The Delivery Coordinator is focused on achieving maximum efficiency to get vehicles delivered and develops collaborative relationships with dealership departments

The ideal candidate will:

· Be in frequent contact with manufacturer and other vendors to ensure a smooth and timely delivery

· Develop collaborative relationships

· Strong team player who works with everyone to achieve dealership goals

· Maintain frequent contact with customers and sales reps

· Ensure all documentation/paperwork is completed in an accurate and timely fashion

· Before Delivery, ensure vehicles are equipped with correct options and all features are functioning

· Reviews and analyzes actions regularly to determine how to better utilize time and plan more effectively

· Develop and maintain full knowledge about the industry

· Keep up to date with products, accessories, prices and key features of major competitors as they compare to dealership products

· Stay up-to-date on the manufacturer training programs

Specific Skills:

· Past scheduling experience

· Past CRM system experience

· General knowledge of the automotive industry would be an asset

· Self-starter with the ability to motivate others

· Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive and engaging attitude

· Excellent verbal communication

· Excellent organizational skills

· Organized with an attention to detail and the ability to pick out errors

· Flexible and open to change; has initiative to take on special tasks as needed

· Ability to solve difficult or complex problems
