Presenting you the top electric vehicles of 2022, Polestar and Tesla are put head to head to showcase their new models, Polestar 2 and Tesla Model 3. These two cars have few similarities, delivering carbon-free performance and a top-notch driving experience.

However, let’s dive deeper as we discover how each vehicle stands face to face and which EV will be your next purchase.

You can see a minimalistic design on both cars’ exteriors, coming from the curvy edges, elegant touches, and the double panoramic roof on both vehicles. However, the Polestar 2 model is distinguished by its front grille and LED foglights with a cornering function to improve your visibility.

On the other hand, Tesla’s design entails hidden door handles and a very simple yet elegant design for the front and rear headlights. Additionally, this auto has a very robust body which is considered one of the safest in its category, receiving a five-star rating according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and Top Safety Pick+ by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety.

Both vehicles utilize the inner spaces by following minimalistic interior design, featuring a big multimedia screen that helps you envision inside and outside your auto. Additionally, these two cars fit up to five passengers on board.

Tesla Model 3 uses a 15-inch touchscreen with a charging platform to wirelessly charge two phones. While the Polestar EV features an 11.2-inch front screen with Google suite installed to ensure a smooth driving experience.

It’s interesting to compare the 2022 Polestar 2 vs. 2022 Tesla Model 3 in terms of technology because both cars are built with the most advanced technological development, whether in the engine, design, or safety.

Regardless of the car you choose, you can find four USB ports in the front and rear seats and a charging hub for wireless charging.

The inner heating system gives you a special premium feeling, which Polestar applies for the front seats only, while Tesla extended heating to the front seats, back seats, and the steering wheel.

Electric vehicles are all about driving range and battery life. Tesla 3 Model offers two options: standard range and long range AWD, with a driving range of 438 km and 576 km, respectively.

Polestar also offers two driving options, the single motor has a range of 434 km, and the dual engine achieves a range of 418 km. However, the dual-motor is faster, reaching a top speed of 205 km/h and 0-100 km/h in 4.5 seconds.

Tesla offers three trims at a starting price of $61,980 for the standard Model 3, while the long-range trim costs $76,990, and the performance model costs $83,990.
